Mrs. Helen V. Christian, 92, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, June 17, 2024.
She was born in Church Hill, TN and was a lifelong resident of Hawkins County. Helen was a homemaker and was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Adam, and Mary (Mullins) Helton; husband, A.V. Christian; daughter, Vicki Hunley; son, Edward Christian; and several beloved siblings.
Helen is survived by her sons, Martin Christian (Terry), and Marvin Christian (Connie); grandchildren, Misti Lewis, Adam Christian, Lilly Christian, Jeremy Christian, and Jennifer Borden; several great grandchildren; son-in-law, David Hunley; brothers, Jimmy Helton and Eugene Helton; and several dear nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
The family would like to thank the staff of The Lifecare Center at Gray for the love and care given to Helen.
Per Helen’s request, a private graveside service will be held.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the charity of your choice.
