I was so sad to hear of Amy's passing. I remember going to her house many years ago for her bonfire/pig roasts. It was an annual event. Amy loved to entertain her family and friends. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. My heart goes out to her family.

It is heartbreaking to lose such a wonderful person and friend, but we know she is now one of our Lord’s dearest angels! Feels unfair to those of us left behind. Amy was always one of the best co-workers one could ever ask for, compassion and kindness was her standard, I will miss the fun of cheering for the Vols with her and will feel it in my heart with every Go Big Orange. I pray for peace for her family and friends, and that she knew how much she was loved!

I’ve known Aimee nearly 30 years. Met her at Mountain View Youth Development Center and shared offices with her. We got to know each other very well and developed a special friendship. We spent time together outside of work laughing with other friends and just enjoying each other’s company. I was shocked to learn that she she had fallen ill. I had talk to her the before. We talked every week sometimes two or three times a week. It was always started off work related but somehow we’d end up talking about our families or old times, laughing. I’m going to miss that laugh. I am praying for her husband and children. I pray that God will comfort you and give you peace as you grieve the loss of this wonderful, wonderful lady. God Bless, Tracy

Please accept our deepest sympathy in the passing of your beloved Amy. From the outpouring of tributes for her life, we feel a great loss from never having the opportunity to meet this remarkable young woman. We worked with her father, Ken, for many years at Holston Defense and were always impressed by the level of love and devotion he expressed toward his family. We truly hope that all the memories and traditions that have accumulated over her shortened lifetime will sustain you now, and in time to come. May our Heavenly Father, in His infinite mercy, provide you solace during this most difficult time of bereavement. We'll continue to keep her loved ones in our hearts and prayers.

Bro. Wayne, Peggy, Tracy & Todd, I cannot express my shock or my hurt when I learned of Amy’s passing. I remember her as a most beautiful and precious little girl. I loved her so much, but haven’t seen her in a very long time. I wish I had known her as an adult and known her husband and children. I have photos of her from one night when I let her, Kim Ragsdale, Kristi Martin and Tina Wright have a sleep over at my apartment. I loved those kids! Amy became sick before we got to my place so I took her to the ER. It was nothing serious so we went on. One of the girls didn’t bring her pj’s so they wore a shorty pajama top of mine (if you can imagine) like a nightgown. I’m pretty sure it was Amy. I can visualize the photo I have of her wearing it. Amy was brought up in the Way of Jesus and it sounds like she continued to live for Him as well as did meaningful work that would be so pleasing to Him. I am proud of her and thankful to have taught her in Sunday School. Hope I was a positive influence on her. Your family, Amy’s family, friends and everyone who loved her will be in my prayers. She will be missed, of that I’m sure, but being with Jesus and her precious Momma will make everything beautiful for her. Thank God for that Glad Reunion Day that we will all enjoy when each of us take our heavenly flight. God bless and comfort all of you.

Wayne, Tracy & Todd, I was shocked to see of Amy’s passing. I know your hearts are broken. She was always a sweet person. Even though I hadn’t seen her in years she seems like she grew into a fine young woman. Most importantly was that she had God in her heart. She is with God and her sweet momma now. Prayers for all her family at this time. May God hold you close and you feel His presence at this time.
