Barbara Hagood, 74, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday August 23rd, 2017. She was a lifelong resident of Hawkins County. Barbara was a member of Faith Missionary Baptist Church.She is preceded in death by her parents James Conner& Delmer Alley Adams, brother James Elbert Adams and sister Joyce Adams.Barbara is survived by her husband of 59 years James “Jim” Hagood, sons James Terry Hagood, Michael Ray Hagood and Bobby Lynn Hagood, daughters Vickie Osborne (Denny) and Lisa Ferguson (Scott), grandchildren Curtis, J.R., Chris, Dustin, Alexis, Thomas, Amber and Miranda, 6 great-grandchildren, special pet companion “Buddy”, special niece Nikki Gent along with several nieces and nephews.Calling hours will be from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Saturday August 26th, 2017 at the Johnson-Arrowood Funeral Home. Funeral service will be conducted at 7:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Larry Arnold officiating. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Sunday August 27th, 2017 at the Elm Springs Cemetery.
