Brenda J. Seaver age 72, of Church Hill, passed away Saturday, August 22, 2015 at her home following a brief illness.Brenda was born in Kingsport and had lived in Church Hill since 1964. She retired from the Asbury Center of Kingsport and was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Church Hill.She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert Samuel Needham and Nancy Smith Needham; brothers, Clarence Needham and Charles Needham; sisters, Peggy Archer and Betty Davis.She is survived by her daughters, Karen Seaver of Kingsport and Valorie Pierce and husband, Michael "Sandy" Pierce of Kingsport. Grandchildren, Meghan Pierce and Aidan Pierce of Kingsport,brother, Jackie Needham and wife, Joan of Church Hill, sisters, Barbara Leamon and husband, Louie of Church Hill, Frances Dolen and husband, Pat of Athens, Alabama, Nina Grimes and husband, Jim of Pensacola, Florida. Several nieces and nephews.Calling hours are from 5 to 7 pm Monday at the Johnson-Arrowood Funeral Home. Funeral servces will be conducted 7 pm Monday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Josh Kilbourne and Rev. Craig Needham officiating.Graveside services will be conducted 11 am Tuesday at the Church Hill Memory Gardens. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the funeral home by 10 am Tuesday morning to go in procession to the cemetery.
