Charles R. "Charlie" Walters, born December 15, 1952 in Benham, Ky., passed away June 3, 2015 at Holston Rehab Center in Knoxville, TN.Charlie is preceded in death by his Dad and Mom, Henry and Verna Gibbons Walters, one brother, Paul Walters and one sister Jean Simpson. Also preceding him in death is a special brother-in-law, Bob Cope.He is survived by his son Brandon Walters, wife Dana and one grandson Zeke of Lafollette, TN. He is survived by 2 sisters – Pearl Cope of Benham, KY and Patsy King and husband Wayne of Ocala, FL and 2 brothers Johnny and wife Susie of Indianapolis, IN and Jerry and wife Betty of Church Hill, TN. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.Visitation will be at Johnson-Arrowood Funeral Home on Friday, June 5, 2015 from 12:00 until 2:00 PM. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM. The service will be officiated by Rick Cope.
