SURGOINSVILLE, TN – Mrs. Evelyn Henderson passed away on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at Church Hill Health Care and Rehab.
Evelyn was member of Amis Chapel Methodist Church for many years. She also was a dedicated member of the Clay Lodge Fairview Chapter #80. Evelyn loved her flowers and gardening while her health allowed her.
She is preceded in death by her parents Carl and Nannie Crigger; her loving husband Kenneth Henderson; brothers Carl Crigger Jr, Clifford Crigger and Gene Crigger.
Evelyn is survived by her daughter, Sharon (Dan) Winstead; son, Jerry (Sandra) Henderson; grandchildren, Brandon (Fanta) Henderson, Brian Winstead, Kristen (McClure) Boyd; great grandchildren, Legion and Daiken Henderson, Blakely and Adyson Winstead, and Isaac and Eden Boyd; and her brother, Edward (Linda) Crigger.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Johnson – Arrowood Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Hawkins County Memorial Gardens with Brother Brian Burchfield officiating.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
