CHURCH HILL – Rev. Glen B. Williams, 77, of Church Hill, went home to be with the Lord, Thursday (October 20, 2016) at the Johnson City Medical Center following a brief illness.Glen was a native of Wise, Virginia but had spent most of his adult life in Church Hill. He was a member of Mount Mitchell Primitive Baptist Church and was a retired employee of AFG Industries.He is preceded in death by his wife, Frances Janette Byington Williams; his parents, Clifford and Mary K. Lawson Williams; three brothers, Jimmy Williams, Rev. Bobby Williams and Paul Williams; two sisters, Phyllis Holder and Donna Overlin.He is survived by one son, Randall K. Williams and wife, Sandy, Church Hill; one daughter, Anita C. Absher and husband, Wayne, Church Hill; 8 Grandchildren, 7 Great Grandchildren; one brother, Buddy Williams and wife, Cheryl, Fort Myers, SC; one sister, Sharon Brown and husband, Wayne, Charlotte, NC; several nieces and nephews.Calling hours are from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M.
