Glennie Ruth Barrett CHURCH HILL- Glennie Ruth Barrett, 76, passed away on Monday (March 10, 2014) at her residence. She was born in Hawkins County where she lived all of her life and attended Piney Grove Church in Caney Valley. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leon Oscar and Bonnie Barrett, brothers; Marvin A. and Emmett M. Barrett, sister, Clara Mae Barrett, and niece, Dawn Marie Barrett. She is survived by her pet, Mickie Honey Barrett, nephews, George Michael Barrett, Roy Barrett and wife Sharon, nieces, Debra Lynn Barrett Ellis and husband, Jimmy, Dina Carol Barrett Grantham and husband, Danny, two sister-in-laws, Donna Borune, Ellen Barrett, three great nieces, two great nephews, special friends, Anabell Begley, Phyllis Mathis, and Shirley Roberts. Calling hours are from 10 to 12 Noon Wednesday at Johnson – Arrowood Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted 12 Noon Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Terry Mellons officiating. Graveside services will be conducted following the service at Oak Hill Memorial Park.
