Church Hill, TNHelen Ruth Caldwell, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 25, 2016 at NHC surrounded by her loving family. She went to be with her Lord and Savior at the age of 82. Born to Clara and George Edens on February 1, 1934. She owned and operated a beauty shop and restaurant for many years in Church Hill. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 53 years Mossie Edward Caldwell, her loving son Michael Edward Caldwell, grandchildren, David Caldwell and Traci Caldwell and sister, Patty Henderson. She is survived by her daughter, Pam Hood and husband, Johnny, grandchildren, Christi Kincaid and husband, Jaimie, Tony Hood and wife, Adrienne, Lindsey Repass and husband, Justin and Scott Caldwell. Great grandchildren, Landon Alley, Andrea Kincaid, Payton Repass and Garin Repass, James, Portia, McKinley and Shyla Caldwell. Sister, Barbara Patterson and husband, Tom, brother, Howard Edens and brother-in-law, Don Henderson, special daughter-in-law, Phyllis Caldwell. Her neighbors, Gene and Mary Brooks who she loved like a son and daughter. Thank you for all your love and care. Special friends, Chris Blackburn, Wayne Harless and Tywla Starnes who she loved dearly. Special thanks to NHC staff, the nurses and PCT’s who loved and took such good care of her. Also, her little dog Sandy. At her request there will be a private family service officiated by Pastor Dave Phillips who was always faithful to visit and pray with her. It gave her so much comfort.
