Church Hill, TNMrs. Irene C. Wallace, age 82, of Church Hill, passed away Thursday, May 12, 2016 at the Indian Path Hospital following a brief illness. Irene was a lifelong resident of Church Hill, she was retired from the Tennessee Eastman Company, and was a member of the Elm Springs United Methodist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband; Marshall Wallace, sister; Eva Jean Popp and husband Lewis Popp.Survivors include her daughters; Cathy Belcher and husband, Ken of Kingsport, LaDonna Christian and husband, Steve of Church Hill. Grandchildren; Rebecca Bays and husband, Matt, Dylan Christian and great grandchildren; Addison and Carson Bays. Special friends; Rhonda Light, Judy Bays, Teresa Belcher and Claudette DeZarne.Graveside services will be conducted 1 pm Saturday at the Elm Springs Cemetery with Teresa Belcher officiating. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the Johnson-Arrowood Funeral Home by 12:15 pm Saturday to go in procession to the cemetery.
