James H. “Blue Goose” Norris, age 68, of Kingsport, passed away Monday, September 4, 2017 at his home. James was born in Kingsport and was a veteran of the United Sates Army having served during Vietnam. James was a precious brother and uncle.He is preceded in death by his parents, Elbert O. Norris and Rosa Loudean Vosburg and brother E. Zeb Norris and wife, Jackie.Survivors include his sisters, Nancy N. Russell and husband, J.C. of Church Hill and Nell Rose Nopo of California. Several nieces and nephews.Calling hours are from 12 to 1 PM Monday at the Johnson – Arrowood Funeral Home and anytime at the residence of his sister, Nancy Russell.Funeral services will be conducted 1 PM Monday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Andy Sensabaugh officiating.
