Love and Prayers for the Brackett & Addair family. The 1st year is the hardest, holidays won\'t ever be the same. And special events will have an empty chair. But all the wonderful stories, memories and legacy they leave behind are ours to keep and cherish... Aunt Kay was a special lady. I have many sweet memories of her and at her house. I can\'t hear her name mentioned without immediately remembering red Cardinals, Manicotti, Tupperware Sippy cups, card games, Sparky, Redskins, Red roses, Birthday parties, family get togethers and a doll she gave me when I was little. (I still have the doll, I passed it on to my daughter Ruth.) I remember getting in trouble at her house for playing on the stairs and trying to pack my younger cousins up & down it, twisting Angela\'s round brush in my hair and Aunt Kay trying to get it out. Aunt Kay was cool and being at her house meant it was going to be fun and laughter. I remember when I was really little her fridge magnets were cookies & fruit, she caught me trying to eat one and laughed. It\'s hard to believe she\'s gone, and I wish I had visied more. But I know she knew Jesus as her Savior and I\'ll see her again. That is a precious comfort we who are still here can look forward to seeing our loved ones again. Love you Aunt Kay, say Hi to Uncle Robert for me!

I remember Kay so fondly from when she spent time in our home visiting with my older sisters who were her age when they were all in high school. She was so sweet and fit right in like another member of our immediate family. Over the years I heard many, many stories of how she always opened her heart and her home to help others. My heartfelt condolences to her family members for their loss.
