Rogersville, TNMartha Jane Chambers, age 64, of Grassy Creek Community of Hawkins County, passed away Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at the Holston Valley Hospital & Medical Center following an apparent heart attack.Mrs. Chambers was born in Memphis, TN, lived in Mississippi before moving to Rogersville in 1985. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Church Hill.She is preceded in death by her husband; Cecil Edward Chambers in 2011, parents; Charles Smith and Mary Cooper Madden, infant daughter; Heather Chambers and a brother; James Smith.Survivors include her children; Ed Chambers, Jr. and wife, Judy of Rogersville, Sean Chambers and wife, Susan of Surgoinsville, Shane Chambers and wife, Misty of Rogersville, Leighanna Chambers, Julia Chambers and Tammy Wallace and husband, David all of Rogersville. Grandchildren; Cody and Kayla Chambers, Hanna Chambers, Ashley Bledsoe and fiancé, Frank Wiggins, Heather Bledsoe and fiancé, Matthew Ballou, Marcus Bledsoe, Sydney Chambers, Destiny Chambers. Great grandson, Joshua Colton Richards.Calling hours are from 5 to 7 pm Friday at the Johnson-Arrowood Funeral Home and anytime at the residence of her son, 151 Cooper Road, Surgoinsville, TN.Funeral services will be conducted 7 pm Friday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Gary Gerhardt officiating. Graveside services will be conducted 10 am Saturday at the Grassy Creek Church Cemetery.
