ROGERSVILLE- Michael Haskel Collier, 55, passed away on Monday Dec. 1, 2017 at Holston Valley Medical Center following an extensive illness.
Michael was a lifelong resident of Hawkins County and was of the Baptist faith. He was an outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is preceded in death by paternal grandmother, Myrtle Collier; maternal grandparents, Thirlie & Bessie Webb.
Michael is survived by his mother, Shirley Coffey & step father Clarence; father, James Collier; sisters, Penny Collier and April Parra; special aunt, Betty Morelock; special cousin, Larry Marshall; special friends, Johnny Light and Michael Smith; several aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces and cousins.
Calling hours will be from 12:00 – 2:00 PM on Sunday Dec. 3, 2017 at the Johnson-Arrowood Funeral Home. Funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Harold Morelock & Rev. Timmy Morelock officiating. The burial will follow to McPheeters Bend Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tim Hatfield, Johnny Light, Larry Marshall, Ellis Rines, Triston Parra, Michael Smith, Frankie McLain, Gary Webb and Noah Winkle.
