Church Hill, TN – Nancy Eaton Christian, age 79, of Church Hill passed away Thursday, January 14, 2016 at her home following an extended illness. Nancy was a lifelong resident of Church Hill and was a member of the First Free Will Baptist Church of Church Hill. Nancy was the owner and operator of the Church Hill Flower Shop with her late husband, Jack for over 50 years, and was much respected in the business community of Hawkins County.She is preceded in death by her husband, Jack Christian in 1998, and her parents, Landon and Maude Poe Eaton.Survivors include her daughter; Hope Murph and husband Toby of Church Hill, grandchildren; Abby Frazier and husband, Dylan of Church Hill, Andrew and Alea Murph,great grandson; Maddox Frazier, Sisters; Dorothy “Dot” Tilson and husband, Wayne of Kingsport, Wanda Stidham and husband, John Doug of Church Hill, brothers; Joe Eaton and wife, Janice of Church Hill, Jim Eaton and wife, Sue of Kingsport, sister-in-law’s; Sandra Bartley and husband, Archie, Joyce Quick and husband, Clyde and Sally Christian. Special nephews; John Stidham, Richard Stidham, Scott Stidham, and very special cousin and friend; Betty Jane Russell.Calling hours are from 5 to 7 pm Sunday at the Johnson – Arrowood Funeral Home of Church Hill. Funeral services will be conducted 7 pm Sunday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Mitch Russell officiating. Graveside services will be conducted 11 am Monday at the Church Hill Memory Gardens with her beloved nephews serving as pallbearers.
