CHURCH HILL – Nita Gaye Strong Armstrong, 81, of Church Hill, passed away Monday (December 21, 2015) at her residence following an extended illness.She was a native of Church Hill and had lived her entire life in East Tennessee. She was a member of Goshen Valley Free Will Baptist Church.She is preceded in death by her first husband, Ralph Strong and second husband, Theodore Armstrong, one son, Jerry Strong, her parents, Noah and Oma Anderson Wagner, granddaughter, Emily Strong, brothers, Noah, Samuel and Glenn Wagner.She is survived by one Son, Lester Strong; two step sons, Kyle Armstrong and Lynn Armstrong; two daughters, Sandra Houchins and Naomi Graves; seven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; three brothers, LeRoy Wagner, George Wagner and Earl Wagner; several nieces, nephews and cousins.Calling hours are from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Saturday at Johnson-Arrowood Funeral Home.Services will be conducted Saturday at 7:00 P.M. in the funeral Home Chapel with the Rev.
