I offer my condolence to Phyllis’s family. She was a friend at CHHS although I graduated ahead of her in the Class of 1963. I also remember her at Elm Springs United Methodist Church where we enjoyed worship, Sunday School and Vacation Bible School together. She would know me as Jimmy, which is the nickname I answer to still when I visit my friends and family in Church Hill and Mt. Carmel. I remember well Phyllis’s radiant smile and her sweet and caring personality. I enjoyed seeing all the wonderful photos of her which reveals her love for her family, her friends and her love of life itself. Please know that you will be in my thoughts and prayers. May the Peace of Christ be with you! Rev. Jim Gray, Knoxville, Tennessee

We were classmates with Phyllis at Church Hill High, and always enjoyed being around her then, as well as running into her over the years. Like many others who were fortunate to be around Phyllis, she was always friendly, had a great sense of humor, and just an all around wonderful person. Her memorial video is a loving tribute to a special lady whose love for her family, friends and travel certainly shine through. Our sincere sympathy to the entire family,

Phyllis was so precious, she lived near me and my mother many years. She delivered my mother's meals on wheels the last few months of her life. Many prayers for her family during this most difficult time. Jeffrey 💜🙏

I worked with Phyllis for 5 years at EastTech Inks and enjoyed every day of it and a big part of it was because of Phyllis. She was always so nice and caring. I'm praying for Gerald and the family. She will surely be missed.
