Roy - a true and kind person. Talking with Roy was always interesting and an entertaining part of any ballroom dance class and dance event. Although I believe Roy enjoyed a good Rumba, he seemed to be willing to put his best foot forward and give any dance a try. It seemed to be part of his personality. It was always a joyful time to see Roy at one of Lance Halverson's dances or to see him brave the floor with a Bachata at a Latin Dance. Roy could chat about cars, recommend a good drink, tinker with a cell phone to share video with a new dance step, and just talk about places in the world where he had either lived or traveled. You could depend on Roy to have a kind word and a winning spirit. Roy would also drop an electronic holiday card; always a thoughtful and kind. My girlfriend and I were surprised to see him at a New Year's Eve Dance at the Jerico Shrine, and I was happy to learn that he was a brother Mason. He had a natural way to make you feel welcomed and to be a part of any event. Heaven has gained another good man.

We have known Roy for several years. We met him at ballroom dance lessons and dances. He was a very kind person and a gentleman. I first met Roy at a New Year's dance in which we sat at the same table. Once he told me that he had worked at AFG, I shared that I had work there too. After that event, we became very close friends. We will miss him very much. We love you Roy! Ron and Rebecca Anderson

I was saddened to read of Roy's death. I worked with Roy at ASG/AFG/AGC for many years and knew him to be a fine man. My thoughts and prayers go out to Roy's family .

I worked with Roy as an equipment supplier. I found him to be a very competent engineer but much more importantly a very gracious man.
