Mount Carmel, TN Shirley Ann Hutson Taylor, age 59, of Mount Carmel, passed away at her home following an extended illness. Shirley was a lifelong resident of Hawkins and Sullivan Counties, and was a graduate of the Church Hill High School. She was retired from the Tennessee Eastman Company and was a member of the Bartons Chapel Central Baptist Church in Kingsport. She is preceded in death by her parents, Garland Thomas Hutson and Stella Benton Hutson. Survivors include her brother, Mike Hutson and wife, Coleen of Church Hill, sisters, Kathy Nelson and husband Tim, of Kingsport, Connie Miller and husband Jack, of Kingsport. Several nieces , nephews, aunts and uncles. It was Shirley’s wishes to be cremated with private graveside services to be held at a later date.
