Surgoinsville, TNVirginia Carolyn Hill, age 68, of Surgoinsville, passed away Saturday, July 23, 2016 at her home following an extended illness. Carolyn was a lifelong resident of Hawkins County, she and her husband Vince were the owners of the Country Kitchen in Surgoinsville for the past 13 plus years. She was of the Methodist faith and attended the Amis Chapel United Methodist Church.She is preceded in death by her parents; Cecil and Junieve Mauk Cooper, brothers; Gary and Larry Cooper, sister; Faye Cooper and grandparents; Dee and Mollie Cooper, John T and Minnie Mauk.Survivors include her husband, Vincent J. Hill of the home, daughters; Susan Chambers and husband, Sean, Stacie Hill and Thomas Looney all of Surgoinsville, granddaughter; Sydney Chambers, nieces; Penny Davis and husband, Troy, Kellie Lawson, special nephew; Micah Davis, special cousins, Karen Ward, Amy Dishner and Mitzi Fortner, very special aunt and friend, Betty CooperCalling hours are from 5 to 7 pm Tuesday at the Johnson – Arrowood Funeral Home and anytime at the residence. Funeral services will be conducted 7 pm Tuesday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Mike Cutshaw, Rev. Greg Fletcher and Rev. Chris Castle officiating. Graveside services will be conducted 11 am Wednesday at the Bethel Cemetery with Chris Lawson, Dakota Davis, Justin Lawson, Josh James, Zach England, Hanes Cooper and Keisha James serving as pallbearers, honorary pallbearers include, James Skelton, James Armstrong, Fayne Cooper, Conley Bailey and Bob Smith.The family would like to extend a special thank you to Amy and Johnathan and the staff of the UT Hospice.To leave an online message for the Hill family, please contact us @www.jfhonline.comJohnson – Arrowood Funeral Home of Church Hill is honored to serve the family of Carolyn Hill.
