To Joann's family, I was saddened to learn of the passing of Joann. For my Dad's (Chester) surprise 80th birthday, she made for him a beautiful basket. He was so very pleased and appreciative. That was something I always remembered her thoughtfulness. May the wonderful memories bring you comfort on the hardest days. With heartfelt sympathy. Gail Dykes Kerns

I am saddened to hear of the passing of Joann. She was a very kind and strong woman. I only had the pleasure of spending a few visits with her but she left a warm and welcoming feeling in my heart. I hope the family finds peace in the up coming days and may the love you all shared for Joann give you comfort and strength. My prayers are with you all.

I am only 1 of the many nieces blessed to call her Aunt Joann. She was a strong presence in our lives & left her imprint on all of us. She was loved & returned that love 3 fold. I love all of you. She will be missed so deeply.

I am so deeply sorry for your loss. Words are so inadequate at times like this. I know what you are going through. The loss of a mother is so difficult. Sending love, hugs and prayers. If there is anything I can do just let me know.

I was fortunate to work with both Joann and Audley, both genuine and caring coworkers. Audley and I had many talks about his family and his love for his children and grandchildren. He was proud of each of you. Joann worked with me at BRMC, was an excellent employee, and demonstrated a mothers care as she beamed about the accomplishments of her family.. I know your hearts are hurting, the loss of Joann leaves a large void in them. Take solace in the comforting knowledge that she will be waiting for you when you have completed your journeys on this earth. I miss both and am a better person because I called them friend.
